Juventus agree deal to sign Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain

Juventus have reached an agreement to sign Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani on a permanent transfer, according to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano.

The France international is expected to join the Italian club during the current summer transfer window, with the deal no longer set to be structured as a loan with either an option or an obligation to buy.

Paris Saint-Germain will receive an initial €38m for Kolo Muani, with a further €12m available in incentives and add-ons. The total value of the agreement could therefore rise to €50m.

Kolo Muani is expected to sign a contract with Juventus running until the summer of 2031. His proposed salary will be slightly above €5m net per season.

Reports of an agreement between the player and Juventus first emerged on Tuesday, but the final details of the transfer still had to be completed. Those arrangements have now been settled, with the move set to become permanent once the remaining formalities are concluded.

The striker is due to undergo his medical later this week.

Kolo Muani spent last season on loan at Tottenham Hotspur, making 41 appearances in all competitions. He scored five goals and provided four assists during that spell.

Before that loan move, he had already spent six months with Juventus, joining the club in January and remaining there until the summer of 2025. His return to Turin would therefore see him rejoin a club for which he has previously played.

The 27-year-old began his senior career with Nantes before moving to Germany to join Eintracht Frankfurt. He subsequently signed for Paris Saint-Germain and has also played in England for Tottenham Hotspur.

Across his club career, Kolo Muani has represented Nantes, Eintracht Frankfurt, Paris Saint-Germain, Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus. The proposed long-term agreement would make Juventus his permanent destination after his latest loan spell in the Premier League.

The transfer marks a change from the arrangement previously under discussion, when Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain were considering a temporary move with a potential future purchase. Instead, the Italian side have agreed to complete the acquisition outright, subject to the medical and final completion of the transfer process.

If concluded as expected, the deal will see Kolo Muani return to Juventus on a contract lasting five seasons beyond the current campaign. Paris Saint-Germain could ultimately collect €50m, depending on whether the agreed performance-related incentives and other variables are met.
