Congolese centre-forward Jerry Yoka has joined Ukrainian Premier Liga side Chornomorets on loan from Polissya-2.

The 20-year-old completed the move on 31 July 2026, with the loan running until 30 June 2027. Yoka will remain with Chornomorets for the 2026-27 season, moving up from Polissya-2’s level in the Ukrainian Persha Liga to compete in the country’s top division.

Yoka is a right-footed striker who stands 1.79m tall. He joins Chornomorets after spending the previous two seasons with Polissya-2, having moved to the club from RC Brazzaville on a free transfer in July 2024.

The forward has yet to make an appearance for either Polissya-2 or Chornomorets in the current campaign. His record for the season shows no appearances in UEFA Conference League qualifying or the Persha Liga before the switch.

Chornomorets have also been involved in Conference League qualifying during the opening weeks of the season, while their domestic campaign is under way in the Persha Liga’s top-flight competition. Yoka’s arrival gives the Odesa club a centre-forward who has previously played in Ukraine’s second tier and now moves into the Premier Liga.

His transfer history marks a second change of club since arriving from the Republic of the Congo. Yoka first joined Polissya-2 in 2024 and has now moved on a temporary basis to Chornomorets, with the agreement including a return to Polissya-2 at its conclusion.

Yoka’s previous spell at Polissya-2 began with a free transfer from RC Brazzaville, before the striker moved to Chornomorets two years later. The latest deal does not include a permanent transfer fee, with the recorded arrangement identified as a loan.

The move was completed on 31 July 2026, and Yoka’s loan spell at Chornomorets will end on 30 June 2027.
