Tunisia winger Bechir Ghariani joins Al-Ramadi from Al-Gharraf

Tunisia winger Bechir Ghariani has joined Al-Ramadi from Al-Gharraf, completing a move to the Iraqi club on 31 July 2026.

The 25-year-old left winger arrives after spending the second half of the 2025-26 season with Al-Gharraf. He previously played for Al-Najaf FC, who he left to join Al-Gharraf on 3 February 2026.

Ghariani has built his recent career in Iraq, making 63 appearances in the Iraq Stars League and contributing five goals and eight assists. He has also featured twice in the Iraq FA Cup, giving him experience of domestic competition during his time in the country.

A right-footed attacker who operates from the left flank, Ghariani was born in Gabes, Tunisia, and stands 1.82m tall. His move to Al-Ramadi represents the latest step in a career that has included spells in both Tunisia and Iraq.

Before moving to Iraq, Ghariani played for US Ben Guerdane and Hammam Sousse in Tunisia. He joined US Ben Guerdane from Hammam Sousse in January 2023, having initially moved to Hammam Sousse from CS Sfaxien’s under-21 side in September 2021.

His time with CS Sfaxien included a Tunisian Cup triumph in the 2018-19 season. Ghariani also made 28 appearances in Tunisia’s Ligue 1, scoring twice and registering two assists, while he played in the Ligue I Pro Playoff and Ligue I Pro Playout during his domestic career.

The move gives Al-Ramadi a player with experience across two national league systems and a record of contributing both goals and assists from the wing. Ghariani’s most productive league return came in the Iraq Stars League, where his eight assists exceeded his five goals across 63 appearances.

Al-Gharraf is the latest club to lose the Tunisia international-level winger after his brief spell there following his departure from Al-Najaf. Ghariani now begins the next phase of his career with Al-Ramadi.

The transfer from Al-Gharraf to Al-Ramadi was completed on 31 July 2026.
