Ghana winger Derrick Gyimah joins Fossano on a free transfer from Cuneo
Ghanaian winger Derrick Gyimah has joined Fossano from Cuneo on a free transfer, completing the move on 31 July 2026.
The 23-year-old right winger arrives at Fossano after one season with Cuneo, having joined the Italian club from Arconatese on 1 July 2025. No transfer fee was recorded for his move to Fossano.
Gyimah, who was born in Suame, Ghana, has spent his career in Italian football and has built his senior experience in Serie D. He has made 103 appearances across Serie D-A and Serie D-B, scoring 11 goals and providing four assists.
His record includes 73 appearances, 10 goals and one assist in Serie D-A, while he added one goal and three assists in 30 matches in Serie D-B. He has also featured six times in the Coppa Serie D, scoring once.
The move to Fossano represents the latest stage of a career that began with Savigliano before Gyimah entered Torino’s youth system. He progressed from Torino’s Under-17 side to the Under-18s and then Torino Under-19, before moving to Novara in January 2022.
Gyimah subsequently joined Bra in July 2022 on a free transfer and spent two seasons with the club before switching to Arconatese in July 2024. He then moved to Cuneo the following summer, again without a recorded fee.
The right-footed attacker stands 1.80m tall and has played primarily on the right side of the attack. His youth career also included appearances in the Primavera 1, Under-18 and Under-17 competitions, as well as the Viareggio Cup and Coppa Primavera.
Fossano have now secured Gyimah’s services as he begins the next chapter of his career in Italy.
