KF Skenderbeu sign French-Senegalese defender Amadou Seydi on free transfer

French-Senegalese centre-back Amadou Seydi has joined Albanian club KF Skenderbeu from Concarneau on a free transfer.

The 28-year-old has signed a contract running until 30 June 2028, completing his move on 31 July 2026. Seydi will now continue his career in Albania’s Kategoria Superiore after leaving Concarneau, where he had played since July 2024.

Seydi is a right-footed central defender who was born in Colomiers, France, and stands 1.84m tall. He becomes part of Skenderbeu’s squad after building his senior career in the French football system.

His previous clubs include Paris 13 Atletico, FC Sete 34, AS Muret and US Colomiers. Seydi joined Concarneau after leaving Paris 13 Atletico in 2024, with both moves completed without a transfer fee.

The defender has made 75 appearances in Ligue 3, registering one assist, while also featuring 39 times in National 1 – Group B and scoring four goals. He has additionally played in France’s lower divisions and made seven appearances in the Coupe de France.

Seydi’s transfer takes him outside France for the first time in his senior career, with Skenderbeu becoming his latest club after a sequence of moves between French teams. His highest recorded market value was €300,000, while his value at the time of joining Skenderbeu was €100,000.

He joins a club competing in Albania’s top flight and has committed his future to Skenderbeu through the end of June 2028. Amadou Seydi has therefore completed a free transfer from Concarneau to KF Skenderbeu.
