West Ham linked with NEOM SC midfielder Amadou Kone
Ivorian-Malian midfielder Amadou Kone is the subject of transfer interest from West Ham, with the 21-year-old currently at Saudi Pro League club NEOM SC.
Kone joined NEOM from Stade Reims in July 2025 in a deal worth €13.32m and is under contract until 30 June 2029. The defensive midfielder has since made 32 Saudi Pro League appearances, scoring twice and providing one assist.
His current market value is listed at €7m, below the fee NEOM paid to bring him to Saudi Arabia. Kone’s move to West Ham would represent a return to European football after his spell with NEOM.
Born in Bamako, Kone began his senior career with AFE before moving to Stade Reims B in July 2023. He progressed into Reims’ first team during the following season, making 40 Ligue 1 appearances before departing for Saudi Arabia.
West Ham are listed in the Championship, while NEOM compete in the Saudi Pro League. The reported interest comes with Kone still tied to NEOM for three more seasons, meaning any move would involve a transfer rather than a free-agent departure.
