Sevilla have been linked with several reinforcements this summer, but their ability to move in the market is heavily conditioned by sales. Offloading Adams for a fee potentially rising to 23.5m would provide crucial breathing space under financial constraints.
Venezias ambitious return to Serie A
For Venezia, the move signals ambition ahead of their first season back in Serie A after promotion.

The Nigerians physical presence, work rate and experience in two European leagues Ligue 1 with Montpellier and La Liga with Sevilla are viewed as assets that could help Venezia adapt quickly to the intensity of Serie A.
While details of the contract length and personal terms have not yet been disclosed, the size of the fee implies a long-term commitment from the Italian side.
From Montpellier to Spain and now Italy
Adams made his name in France at Montpellier, where his performances drew interest from abroad and ultimately led to his move to Sevilla.
In Spain, he faced strong competition for a starting place but still managed to feature regularly across all competitions, registering 10 goals in 33 outings. His versatility in leading the line and stretching defences has reportedly attracted several admirers, with Venezia emerging as the club most willing to meet Sevillas valuation.
