Moussa Samake: CFR Clujs Mali striker linked with move to ASA Tg. Mures in Romanias Liga 2
Mali centre-forward Moussa Samake of CFR Cluj has been linked with a move to Romanian Liga 2 side ASA Tg. Mures as clubs in the country continue to shape their squads for the new season.
Samake, 21, is a right-footed striker standing 1.85m tall and has been part of CFR Clujs attacking options since progressing from their youth ranks into the first team setup in 2024.
The Bamako-born forward has spent much of the last two seasons gaining experience on loan in Romania, most recently at Concordia Chiajna in Liga 2 during the 2025-26 campaign.
Before that, Samake enjoyed a productive spell with ACSM Resita, also in Romania, having initially stepped up from CFR Clujs under-19 side following a loan at CSM Olimpia Satu Mare.
His market value peaked at 275,000 while at ACSM Resita in mid-2025 and is currently estimated at 175,000 after his time with Concordia Chiajna.
Samake returned to CFR Cluj at the end of June following the conclusion of his latest loan, with his future now under discussion amid interest from ASA Tg. Mures.
No agreement has been reached between the clubs and the rumoured move remains at an early stage.
