Iyed Hadj Khalifa: Ittihad Tanger eye move for Tunisia striker from Dinamo Tbilisi

Tunisia centre-forward Iyed Hadj Khalifa, currently on loan at Georgian side Gori FC from Dinamo Tbilisi, is being linked with a summer move to Moroccan club Ittihad Tanger.

The 26-year-old, valued at around 200,000 on Transfermarkt, is the subject of speculation over a switch from the Erovnuli Liga to the Botola Pro Inwi, with the reported probability of a deal still unclear (?). His contract situation at Dinamo Tbilisi is not publicly listed, raising the prospect that a future move could involve him becoming a free agent if no extension is agreed.

Hadj Khalifa only joined Dinamo Tbilisi from Tunisian side Union Sportive de Ben Guerdane in February 2026 before being sent out on loan to Gori FC a month later, with that spell scheduled to end on 31 December 2026 when he is due to return to his parent club.

Standing at 1.92m and predominantly right-footed, the Sousse-born striker has built a career across several Tunisian clubs before his Georgian move. He progressed from US Tataouines U21s to the first team in 2021, then had spells with ES Rades, CS Hammam-Lif, US Monastir and Ben Guerdane between 2021 and 2025.

His market value has fluctuated over the past two seasons, peaking at 350,000 during his time at US Monastir in June 2025, dropping to 300,000 at Ben Guerdane later that year and then to 200,000 after his move to Gori FC in June 2026.

Hadj Khalifas recent outings in Georgia have kept him on the radar of scouts in North Africa, although detailed match-by-match statistics, including specific opponents, scorelines and individual contributions, are not publicly available in the latest data.

A move to Ittihad Tanger, if it progresses beyond rumour, would mark his first step into Moroccan football and could be a pivotal moment in re-establishing his market value and profile in the wider North African game.
