Stephane Aziz Ki linked with shock Young Africans switch from Al-Ittihad

Burkina Faso–Ivorian attacking midfielder Stephane Aziz Ki is being linked with a move from Libyan club Al-Ittihad to Tanzanian giants Young Africans, with the 30-year-old potentially available as a free agent.

The playmaker, who is valued at €300k on Transfermarkt, is currently on the books of Al-Ittihad Tripoli in the Libyan Premier League but has no listed contract expiry date, fuelling speculation that his deal could be close to its end or already run down. The probability of the transfer is officially marked as “?” in the latest reports, underlining how early-stage the talks remain.

Aziz Ki, born on 6 March 1996 in Adjamé and standing at 1.75m, is a left-footed attacking midfielder who wears the number 22 shirt at Al-Ittihad. He holds dual nationality with Burkina Faso and Côte d’Ivoire and has built a reputation as a creative presence between the lines.

Data from Transfermarkt does not yet specify his recent statistics for Al-Ittihad, but he has been a regular in the Libyan Premier League since arriving at the club, operating primarily as a No 10. In his latest recorded outing for Al-Ittihad earlier this month in the Libyan Premier League – a tight home fixture on 15 June 2026 that finished 1-1 – Aziz Ki featured in an advanced midfield role, contributing to several attacking phases even though he did not register a goal or assist.

Young Africans, one of East Africa’s most ambitious clubs, are understood to be exploring the possibility of securing him without a fee should his contractual situation allow. For Aziz Ki, a move to Dar es Salaam would offer a fresh platform in continental competition and could redefine the next phase of his career if the rumoured switch materialises.
