Akor Adams valued at €20m as Sevilla weigh summer sale
Nigerian striker Akor Adams could become one of Sevilla’s most valuable transfer assets this summer, with the Spanish club reportedly placing a €20 million valuation on the Super Eagles forward.
The 25-year-old joined the Andalusian side in January 2025 and has seen his standing within the squad rise significantly following an encouraging first full season in Spain.
Sevilla are prepared to listen to offers for Adams and are hoping growing interest from across Europe will help increase his market value during negotiations.
Adams endured a difficult introduction to Spanish football after arriving midway through the 2024-25 campaign. However, his fortunes improved considerably as he settled into life at the club.
The Nigerian international finished the season with 10 league goals, a return that played an important role in helping Sevilla preserve their top-flight status.
His performances have not gone unnoticed. Reports suggest that clubs in England, Italy and France are all monitoring his situation ahead of the summer transfer window.
Interest from Italy is said to be particularly strong, while French side Marseille have also reportedly been keeping a close watch on the striker’s progress.
With several clubs following the player, Sevilla are understood to be determined to maintain their €20 million asking price and could seek an even higher fee if competition for his signature intensifies.
The club’s position is also influenced by financial considerations. Sevilla are reportedly open to a sale provided they receive an offer that exceeds the amount paid to bring Adams to Spain in January 2025.
Despite the transfer speculation, the striker is not believed to be pushing for a move away from the club.
Instead, reports indicate that Adams remains focused on opportunities that would offer him regular playing time and a clear sporting project should a transfer materialise.
The Nigerian forward remains under contract with Sevilla until June 2029, giving the Spanish club a strong position in any potential negotiations.
His current market value is estimated at €15 million, while reports place his annual salary at approximately €1.88 million.
For now, Sevilla appear willing to wait and assess the market, confident that interest from several European leagues could strengthen their bargaining position in the weeks ahead.
