Inter Milan are closely tracking Eduardo Camavinga after learning Real Madrid’s asking price for the French midfielder, but any deal would demand a major financial outlay this summer.

The Nerazzurri are pursuing reinforcements across the team, targeting upgrades in central defence and at wing-back alongside a new midfielder. Manu Kone has already been mentioned as a candidate, but Camavinga has now emerged as a serious alternative at the top end of their shortlist. On top of the fee, Camavinga’s wages present another hurdle, with the 23-year-old earning an estimated 12.5 million euros gross per season in Spain. That level would immediately make him one of Inter’s highest earners and force a rethink of their salary structure.

Camavinga joined Madrid from Rennes in 2021 and has grown into a versatile option who can operate both in midfield and across the back line.
