Bayern Munich push to secure Michael Olise future

Bayern Munich are moving early to secure the long-term future of star winger Michael Olise, one of the most sought-after players in European football.

According to French outlet L’Equipe, the German champions plan to extend the 24-year-old’s contract, currently running until 2029, by a further two years to 2031, with talks targeted for the autumn.

Olise has developed into a key figure since joining from Crystal Palace in summer 2024, delivering an outstanding 22 goals and 31 assists in 52 competitive matches last season. His form has attracted strong interest from Europe’s elite, including Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, making Bayern’s push to tie him down a strategic priority.

As reported in Germany, Bayern have been working on this topic internally for some time and see it as the next major contract step after resolving Harry Kane’s deal, which expires in 2027. To keep Olise long term, the club are preparing a clearly improved package, with his salary set to be lifted to the level of the squad’s top earners and, per L’Equipe, effectively doubled.

Bayern officials have repeatedly stressed publicly that selling the Frenchman is not an option, and L’Equipe notes that Olise feels very comfortable in Munich and currently sees his future with the Bundesliga champions. Club bosses now aim to make him one of the defining faces of Bayern’s football in the coming years.
