Zamalek’s first-team delegation has arrived in Algeria, stepping up preparations for a high-stakes encounter against CR Belouizdad in the CAF Confederation Cup semi-final first leg.
The Egyptian side touched down at Houari Boumediene Airport in Algiers after a flight lasting approximately four hours.
The delegation is led by Engineer Hisham Nasr, Vice Chairman of the club’s board, underscoring the importance the White Castle attaches to this continental assignment.
Attention now turns to Friday, April 10, when Zamalek face CR Belouizdad in the opening leg of the semi-final. The return fixture is scheduled for April 17 at Cairo International Stadium, where the tie will be decided on Egyptian soil.
Zamalek secured their place in the last four after edging past Congo-Brazzaville champions Otoho in a tightly contested quarter-final, advancing with a 3-2 aggregate victory.
The result highlighted the team’s resilience and ability to navigate pressure in knockout football.
