Ivory Coast international Evan Ndicka’s performances for Roma attract interest from Europe’s top clubs

Evan Ndicka has established himself as one of the key figures in the defence of AS Roma, and his strong performances in Serie A are now drawing interest from several major European clubs.

The Ivory Coast international has become a regular starter for Roma, with his defensive consistency widely praised. His rise in form throughout the season has not gone unnoticed by scouts across Europe, many of whom are closely tracking his progress in Italy.

Among the clubs reportedly monitoring the defender is FC Barcelona, which is said to be keeping a close watch on his development. According to journalist Nicolò Schira, Premier League sides Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are also following the player’s situation.

Roma are reportedly aware of the growing interest in their defender and have set a significant asking price for any potential transfer. The Italian club is believed to value Ndicka at around €50 million, signalling their intention to protect a player who has become central to their defensive structure.

A similar stance was taken during the previous summer transfer window when an offer from Al Nassr FC failed to convince Roma’s leadership to part ways with the defender.

Ndicka remains under contract with the club until 2028, reinforcing Roma’s strong negotiating position. The defender’s performances during the current campaign underline his importance to the team.

So far this season, the Ivorian has featured in 32 matches across competitions. In addition to his defensive duties, he has also contributed four goals, highlighting his ability to make an impact at both ends of the pitch.

His involvement has also been marked by significant playing time, with more than 2,600 minutes accumulated during the campaign. The defender’s current contract reportedly sees him earn more than €5 million per year.

With several European clubs now observing his progress, Ndicka’s future could become one of the notable transfer stories to watch as interest around the Roma defender continues to grow.
