Botola Pro 1: Mohamed El Houaidri appointed to referee Wydad vs AS FAR clasico

The Central Directorate of Arbitration has announced the officiating team for tonight’s highly anticipated Clasico between Wydad Athletic Club and AS FAR.

The postponed Round 9 fixture of the Moroccan Professional Championship will take place at the Mohammed V Complex in Casablanca at 10 p.m., with referee Mohamed El Houaidri assigned to take charge of the encounter.

He will be assisted by Lahcen Azkaou and Rachid Louzati on the lines.

Sharhabil Ayoub has been appointed to oversee the Video Assistant Referee operations, with Benbaba Essam serving as his assistant in the VAR room.

Elsewhere, the clash between RS Berkane and Hassania Agadir will be officiated by Jalal Jaid, assisted by Akarkad Mustafa and Nassiri Hamza.

Hamidat Yassine will act as fourth official, while Benrakia Nabil will handle VAR duties alongside Mustaghfir Abdelhak.

For the fixture involving Kawkab Marrakech and Olympique Safi, Saadi El Hanafi has been named as the center referee. He will be supported by Othmani Hicham and Bounouala Aziz, with Mohsen Sourdi appointed as fourth official. Hicham Temsamani will supervise the VAR room, assisted by Fatiha Jermoumi.

The appointments set the stage for an intense round of fixtures as the Moroccan top flight continues to gather momentum.
