According to Fabrizio Romano, Bayern Munich have already informed Chelsea of their intention, meaning the striker’s temporary stay will end once the current campaign finishes.
Jackson joined the German side on loan, but the clause to make the transfer permanent depended on several conditions — including the requirement that he start 40 matches.
That target was never reached. Since arriving in Munich, Jackson has played 21 matches in total, scoring five goals and providing one assist.
