FIFA has once again suspended Zamalek’s ability to register players, marking the 11th such sanction against the Egyptian club.
The suspension, set to take effect from the next summer transfer window, covers three consecutive registration periods.

The move comes after Zamalek failed to settle a debt of $1.6 million owed to Senegalese striker Ibrahim Ndiaye, along with accrued interest, totalling roughly 75.2 million Egyptian pounds.
Of the club’s 11 registration-related penalties, four remain on hold pending payment, while the rest impose full suspension over multiple transfer windows.
On the pitch, Zamalek enjoyed a strong showing in the Egyptian Premier League, defeating Ceramica Cleopatra 5-2 in the 17th round.
The club now turns its attention to continental competition, preparing to host Zesco United in the fifth round of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.
