German giants Bayern Munich are said to be leading the race to sign France-born teenager of Congolese descent, Emmanuel Mbemba.
The left-footed defender is yet to sign his first professional contract with Paris Saint-Germain.
Although his current deal with the French giants runs until June 2026, growing attention from Germany has placed PSG under increasing pressure to act.
In recent weeks, both Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen have stepped up discussions surrounding the player’s future.
However, sources now indicate a clear shift in momentum towards Bayern, with the Bundesliga champions currently viewed as the strongest contenders to land the promising youngster.
Mbemba has already built a solid reputation at youth level, standing out for his calmness in possession, tactical intelligence and versatility across the defensive line. His progress has also been recognised internationally, having earned six caps with the France Under-18 national team.
As negotiations continue to intensify, Bayern’s growing confidence suggests they are well placed to add another exciting young talent to their long-term project, should talks reach a successful conclusion in the coming months.
