TP Mazembe has confirmed that it is not subject to any transfer or recruitment ban, following recent speculation about possible disciplinary action against the Lubumbashi-based club.
The club clarified that no complaints or disciplinary proceedings have been filed against them with FIFA or any other international governing body.
A statement from the management emphasized that the rumours were unfounded.
“This firm statement refutes recent speculation regarding a possible sporting sanction against the Lubumbashi-based team,” the club said.
According to TP Mazembe, the misunderstanding arose from a minor administrative error, which was quickly identified and resolved by the relevant departments.
The matter was officially cleared by FIFA on 2 February, with supporting documentation received by the club’s secretariat.
The club affirmed that its administrative situation is now fully compliant with international football regulations.
The case initially concerned financial transactions with Raja Club Athletic of Casablanca, a partner club with whom TP Mazembe maintains a good relationship.
The Moroccan side confirmed that all amounts owed had been received and that no complaint had ever been filed against the Congolese team.
The club emphasized that all financial obligations were met within the agreed timeframe.
Furthermore, the law firm Altius, representing TP Mazembe, stated that it has not received any disciplinary case against the club.
TP Mazembe expressed regret over the spread of unfounded rumours, which cited no reliable sources or involved players.
The club has warned that it reserves the right to pursue legal action against anyone attempting to damage its reputation through the dissemination of false information.
By clarifying its position, TP Mazembe aims to reassure supporters and the sporting public that the Ravens remain fully compliant with both administrative and financial requirements and are free to continue their activities in domestic and international football without restriction.
