Sayha Seha: Maltese left winger linked with Hamrun Spart. move

Sayha Seha has completed a loan move from Italian side Catanzaro to Maltese club Hamrun Spartans, joining the Premier League Closing Round outfit on a temporary deal starting 2026-02-03 and running through 2026-06-30. The 21-year-old left winger arrives with a current market value of €200k and will return to Catanzaro at the end of the loan period.

The transfer sees Seha, who holds both Madagascar and France nationality, leave Serie B to continue his development in Malta’s top flight. The deal is officially registered as a loan transfer from Catanzaro to Hamrun Spartans, with the Italian club retaining his rights beyond the end of the Maltese season. According to the registration, he is scheduled to go back to Catanzaro when the loan expires on 2026-06-30.

For Hamrun Spartans, the acquisition adds a versatile attacking option on the left flank, with Seha primarily operating as an attacking left winger and preferring his right foot, giving him the option to cut inside. The move also provides Catanzaro with a pathway for the young winger to gain regular first‑team experience outside Italy, while his contractual situation remains under their control.

Seha was born in Troyes and stands 1.74m tall. His pathway to professional football has already taken in several French youth systems and reserve sides. After coming through ESTAC Troyes U19, he moved to Olympique Marseille U19 in 2022, before stepping up to Olympique de Marseille B in 2023. In 2025 he made the switch to Catanzaro, moving from the French set‑up to Italian football. The current loan to Hamrun Spartans marks his first spell in Maltese football and another step in an already mobile early career.

The winger’s market value has been assessed at €200k in his time with Catanzaro, underlining his status as a promising but still developing asset rather than an established star. His transfer history shows a steady progression through youth and reserve levels into senior professional environments in both France and Italy, with this latest move expanding his profile into a new league and country.

The confirmed loan structure also creates a potential inflection point for his medium‑term future. With his stay at Hamrun Spartans contractually limited to the period between 2026-02-03 and 2026-06-30, his situation at Catanzaro afterwards will be key: depending on subsequent contract decisions or club strategy, there is a possibility that, further down the line, he could move again or even become a free agent if no extension or subsequent deal is agreed.

Seha’s dual national background, representing both Madagascar and France, adds a broader dimension to his move abroad, as he continues to build a career that has already taken him from French youth football to Italy’s Serie B and now to Malta’s Premier League Closing Round. For now, the facts are clear: he is officially a Hamrun Spartans player on loan, with a defined return to Catanzaro set for 2026-06-30, and the coming months in Malta will be crucial in shaping the next step of his professional journey.
