Chelsea linked with Strasbourg winger Gessime Yassine

Moroccan-French winger Gessime Yassine, currently with R. Strasbourg, has been linked with a move to Chelsea in the Premier League.

Yassine, 20, has started all six of Strasbourg’s Ligue 1 matches this season, scoring twice and providing one assist. The left-footed right winger has played 97% of the club’s league minutes and accounts for 27% of their goal involvement.

The player joined Strasbourg from USL Dunkerque in January 2026 for a reported €7m fee. His current market value is listed at €20m, while his contract with the Ligue 1 club runs until 30 June 2030.

Yassine has also featured for Morocco at the 2026 World Cup, making three appearances and scoring once. He previously helped Morocco Under-20s win the 2025 Under-20 World Cup, scoring two goals during the tournament.

The reported interest comes after a strong start to the 2026-27 domestic campaign, although there is no indication that a transfer has been agreed or that negotiations have taken place. Yassine remains a Strasbourg player under contract through 2030.
