Saudi outfit, Al-Najma have announced the signing of Zamalek midfielder Nabil Emad Dunga, in a deal aimed at strengthening the team for the Roshan Professional League competitions.
The midfielder joins Al-Najma Club for a transfer fee worth $1 million, marking a significant step in his footballer career.
Al-Najma have been in a dismal form and risk suffering relegation from the Saudi Pro League at the end of the campaign. Currently, the club sit bottom of the standings with a paltry five points after 20 matches into the season.
In an attempt to revive their campaign, Al-Najma have moved to secure the signature of the Egyptian international.
Regarding his participation with Zamalek this season, Dunga played 13 matches in various competitions, and was part of the team’s roster that won three titles: the African Confederation Cup in the season before last, in addition to the African Super Cup and Egypt Cup titles during the last season.
Internationally, Dunga has previously appeared with the Egyptian national team in 11 matches since receiving his first international call-up in 2019, adding to his continental and international experience that Al-Najma club hopes to benefit from during the next stage.
