Kylian Mbappe extends incredible La Liga record after scoring against Racing Santander

Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe continued his remarkable goalscoring form after finding the net against Racing Santander to maintain his perfect record of scoring against every La Liga opponent he has faced.

The France international reached the milestone on Sunday, taking his tally of opponents scored against in the Spanish top flight to 24 after helping Real Madrid secure a 3-0 away victory.

Mbappe opened the scoring in the 11th minute, winning a penalty before confidently converting from the spot to give the visitors an early advantage.

Jude Bellingham and Yan Diomande subsequently added two more goals to complete a convincing victory for the Spanish giants.

The result further highlighted Mbappe’s consistency since arriving at the Santiago Bernabeu, with the 27-year-old continuing to establish himself as one of the most prolific forwards in European football.

Mbappe’s remarkable goalscoring numbers at Real Madrid

The French forward has scored 68 goals in 76 La Liga appearances since joining Real Madrid, underlining his impact in Spanish football.

He has also registered 15 goals across all competitions this season, including 12 in La Liga.

Mbappe’s consistency has been particularly impressive in the league, having failed to score in only four of his 11 appearances this season.

Those matches came against Espanyol, Real Betis, Atletico Madrid and Villarreal.

His latest goal against Racing Santander means he has now scored against all 24 La Liga opponents he has faced in the competition.

Deportivo La Coruña next as Real Madrid chase leaders

Mbappe will have another opportunity to extend his record when Real Madrid face Deportivo La Coruña on December 20.

The fixture presents another chance for the former Paris Saint-Germain forward to maintain his impressive scoring run.

Meanwhile, Sunday’s victory leaves Real Madrid third in the La Liga standings with 27 points.

They remain close to second-placed Atletico Madrid, who have 28 points, while Barcelona lead the table with 30 points.
