Aston Villa have reached an agreement with Turkish giants Besiktas to secure the signing of striker Tammy Abraham, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The move marks a return to familiar ground for the English-Nigerian forward, who previously enjoyed a prolific spell with the club earlier in his career.
Villa are set to pay an initial fee of €21 million, with additional add-ons included in the deal, for the former Chelsea, Roma and AC Milan striker.
The agreement also involves a player exchange, with Besiktas set to receive 19-year-old Turkish central defender Yasin Ozcan from the Aston Villa squad.

Ozcan, who is currently on loan at Belgian side Anderlecht, will move to Besiktas as part of the arrangement, adding a youthful defensive option to the Turkish club’s ranks.
Abraham’s return to Villa comes for the first time since the 2018/19 season, a campaign in which he played a key role in the club’s promotion to the Premier League.
During that season, he scored 26 goals in 40 appearances in the Championship, cementing his status as a fan favourite at Villa Park.
