Nigeria coach Eric Chelle has eulogized attacker Akor Adams following a standout display in the quarterfinals clash against Algeria at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Adams, who plies his trade for Sevilla delivered a strong performance as the Super Eagles triumphed over the North African outfit to secure a place in the semifinals of the continental showpiece on Saturday.
The attacker capped off an impressive performance with a goal, as Nigeria cruised to a 2-0 victory in the high-stake quarterfinals clash.
“Like I said, the group is more important than the player”… adding that Adams “gives everything for his team, for his brothers”
Nigeria have now set up a crucial semifinal tie against host country, Morocco, with both teams seeking for victory to secure a place in the final.
The Super Eagles secured silver medal in the last edition, held in Ivory Coast after losing the title to the Elephants.
The enterprising forward has racked up four goals for the Super Eagles in nine internationals appearances, marking a great start with the national team.
