Eintracht Frankfurt are reported to be exploring a move for Werder Bremen centre-back Karim Coulibaly, with the teenage defender attracting growing attention after a sharp rise in his market value.

The 18-year-old, who holds both German and Ivorian nationality, is currently being linked with a switch from Bremen to fellow Bundesliga side Frankfurt, with the likelihood of a deal being put at around 21% according to the latest reports. Any approach is expected to take into account his current estimated value of €8.00m, a significant increase from the €1.00m valuation recorded earlier in the 2025–26 season. There is also scope for speculation over his longer-term future at Bremen, as there is no public information in the data about the duration of his existing deal, leaving open the possibility that he could move closer to free-agent status further down the line if no agreement is reached.

Coulibaly only stepped up from Werder Bremen’s under-19 side to the senior set-up in July 2025, having joined the club’s youth ranks from Hamburger SV’s under-19s the previous summer. Before that, he progressed through HSV’s system from the under-17s and youth team, after earlier spells with HSV Barmbek-Uhlenhorst Youth and Bramfelder SV Youth in Germany. All of his club football to date has been played within the German system, culminating in his current role as a centre-back option in Bremen’s Bundesliga squad.

No recent match details or standout performances are listed in the available data, but the speed of his valuation increase suggests that Coulibaly has impressed enough to come under closer scrutiny. A move to Frankfurt, should it materialise, would represent the next step in a rapid ascent and could prove pivotal in shaping both his reputation in the Bundesliga and his long-term potential at senior level.
