Crystal Palace emerge as favourites to sign French-Cameroonian defender Sacha Boey
English outfit Crystal Palace are currently leading the race to sign France-born defender of Cameroonian descent, Sacha Boey.
The right-back appears closer than ever to a departure, with Premier League interest intensifying.
Boey’s time at Bayern is edging toward a possible split, and Palace have launched a determined push to bring him to London. Transfer insider Ekrem Konur reports that the English club have placed Boey at the top of their priority list for the upcoming window, signalling a strong intent to finalise a deal.
Several other European clubs remain in the mix. West Ham United, Juventus, AS Monaco, Olympique Lyon, Sevilla, and Galatasaray, Boey’s former team, are all monitoring developments closely and assessing their chances of stepping in.
Fabrizio Romano recently revealed that Bayern have already explored potential moves for the defender, particularly with Juventus.
Late in the summer window, the German champions attempted to arrange a transfer to Italy, but the Turin club opted not to proceed at the time. The situation could shift depending on the stance of Juve’s new sporting director.
With interest rising on multiple fronts, the coming weeks may prove decisive for Boey as Crystal Palace position themselves at the front of the race.
