Bayern Munich to listen to offers for French-Cameroonian defender Sacha Boey in the winter
German champions Bayern Munich are ready to listen to offers for French defender of Cameroonian descent, Sacha Boey.
According to BILD reporters Christian Falk and Tobias Altschäffl, the German champions are considering selling the right-back in the winter.
Boey has struggled to fully establish himself at Bayern since joining the club, and although he is now getting minutes again under Vincent Kompany, the Munich hierarchy hopes increased playing time will help boost his market value ahead of a potential sale.
The club reportedly considered selling him as early as the summer, and their stance remains unchanged.
Sources have told Africasoccer that if an attractive offer arrives, they are ready to negotiate.
Boey’s performances during the 2024/25 campaign have not been entirely convincing, and his current market value stands at around €18 million, leaving his future at Säbener Straße far from certain.
For now, Boey remains in the plans of manager Vincent Kompany, who has called on him a key games this season.
