Paris Saint Germain are preparing a mouthwatering bid to secure the signature of France international of Ivory Coast descent Manu Koné.
The 24-year-old, who plies his trade for AS Roma has attracted significant interest across Europe following his outstanding performance in the current campaign.
According to reports, the reigning Champions League champions has set sights on securing the services of the midfielder and are willing to cough around €60 million to lure him.
Roma value Koné at €50 million, but the French giants is eager to avoid competition and is willing to pay an extra €10 million to become the front-runners for the player’s signature.
Koné is emerging as a key figure in the French national team’s midfield, as well as at Italian side Roma, whom he joined last summer from Borussia Mönchengladbach for €18 million.
Since his move to Roma, Koné has made 52 appearances, scoring 2 goals and providing 3 assists.
Kone joined the Italian powerhouse in summer 2024 with his current contract expected to expire in 2029.
