RCA Zemamra part ways with coach Redouane El Haimer

Zamamra has parted ways with their coach, Redouane El Haimer, after four rounds into the new Moroccan top-flight season.

The decision, announced by the club’s management, marked an abrupt end to a partnership that many hoped would bring growth and success.

Speaking right after the news, El Haimer shared his honest feelings: “I was surprised by the decision to part ways, especially since we were preparing for the upcoming matches and working to correct mistakes in the quest for victories.”

He continued, “The board informed me that my results in the past games weren’t satisfactory, but from my perspective, the team’s statistics were very positive. We are among the top three clubs in several metrics: attacking phases, possession, shots on target, chance creation, dribbling, distance covered, and passing accuracy. What we lacked was only the finishing touch, which we were striving to improve.”

El Haimer ended on a gracious note: “Ultimately, the club’s decision must be respected. I wish Zamamra success in the rest of the season. This is football—sometimes, we have to accept decisions we’re not happy about.”
