Al Ahly have been handed a timely lift in training as they prepare for a crucial league clash with arch-rivals Zamalek.

Al Ahly will meet their rivals next Monday in the ninth round of the Egyptian Premier League.

Supporters welcomed the news that Mohamed Ali Ben Ramadan, Taher Mohamed Taher, and Ahmed Nabil Kouka are now fit and available for selection. Zamalek currently lead the standings with 17 points, five clear of Al Ahly, who sit seventh, and the upcoming summit could shape the early title race.

“Today’s training session witnessed a surprise with Achraf Dari gradually participating in group training,” a club source told Kooora.

“Gradisar will be ready for the summit, alongside the team’s trio of Ben Romdhane, Kouka and Taher,” he added.

“Afsha underwent a treatment session due to a calf muscle injury, but he will be ready to participate in training,” he explained.

The source emphasized that Karim Fouad, Mohamed Shukry, and Imam Ashour remain out of contention for the big match.
