Pharco gave its fans something to smile about on Monday night, showing heart and discipline to hold Al-Masry SC to a goalless draw at the New Suez Stadium.

The result may not have been a win, but for Pharco it was a hard-fought point that lifted their spirit in a difficult season.

The draw also worked in favor of league leaders Zamalek, as Al-Masry failed to take advantage of their dominance. With the shared points, Al-Masry now has 15 points in second place, just one behind Zamalek. Pharco’s tally moved to 4 points, keeping them in 20th position as they continue their search for a first victory this campaign.

Pharco coach Ahmed Khattab set up his side with strong defensive organization, forcing Al-Masry to work for every chance.

The pressure from Salah Mohsen and Algerian midfielder Abdel Rahim Daghmoum looked dangerous, but goalkeeper Mohamed Saeed Sheika stood tall. His saves earned him the Man of the Match, as Pharco left the pitch with renewed belief.
