Spanish giants Real Madrid are considering the acquisition of France international of Guinea-Bissau descent Dayot Upamecano.

The 26-year-old centre-back is in his final year of his contract at Bayern Munich, sparking concerns about his future at the club.

With his contract expiring in summer 2026, the Spanish giants has set sights on securing the signature of Upamecano to bolster their defense.

Upamecano is not ruling out a move to the Spanish giants, having already informed his agent about his desire to join Real Madrid.

Despite Madrid focusing on other priorities, a potential move for Upamecano cannot be ruled out.

The Franco-Guinean defender joined Bayern Munich in 2021 and has since established himself as a key member of the team. Despite attracting interest, the German giants are determined to keep the defender beyond 2026.

Upamecano has made four appearances in the Bundesliga for Bayern so far, and is expected to play a huge role for the club this season.
