Ghana’s Abdul Fatawu Issahaku nets stunning strike in Leicester City’s 2-0 win over Birmingham
Ghanaian winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku was on target for Leicester City on Friday night, helping the Foxes to a 2-0 victory over Birmingham City in the English Championship.
The 21-year-old started the Week 4 clash in fine form and needed just eight minutes to make his mark, finishing off a pass from youngster Louis Page to hand Leicester an early lead.
In an intense contest, the Foxes maintained their advantage into the break before Ricardo Pereira sealed the win in the 88th minute, securing all three points for the home side.
Issahaku, who has now scored in back-to-back league matches, lasted 87 minutes before being substituted for Wout Faes after picking up a knock. He is set to undergo further assessment to determine the extent of the injury.
