Morocco head coach Walid Regragui has unveiled his squad for the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers, with the Atlas Lions set to face Niger and Zambia in early September.
Goalkeeper Yassine Bounou will spearhead the squad, flanked by Munir El Kajoui and Mehdi El Harrar.
The defensive line features seasoned internationals Achraf Hakimi, Nayef Aguerd, Achraf Dari, and Jawad El Yamiq, complemented by Adam Massina, Souffian El Karouani, Omar El Hilali, Mohamed Chibi, and Youssef Belammari.
In midfield, Regragui has called up Sofyan Amrabat, Azzedine Ounahi, Bilal El Khannouss, Ismael Saibari, Oussama El Azzouzi, and Eliesse Ben Seghir, alongside a first senior call-up for Neil El Aynaoui.
The attacking contingent is led by Youssef En-Nesyri and Ayoub El Kaabi, joined by Brahim Diaz and Ilias Akhomach—returning after a long injury layoff—as well as Amine Adli, Hamza Igamane, Chemsdine Talbi, and Maroan Sanadi.
Morocco will open their qualifying campaign against Niger on September 5 at the new Moulay Abdellah Stadium before hosting Zambia on September 8.
