Al Ahly have announced that star player Emam Ashour is set to resume training after making giant steps towards a future recovery.
In a club statement, it said the exciting player “will participate in group training next Monday, after fully recovering from a broken collarbone he sustained during the Inter Miami match in the Club World Cup.
It can be recalled that Ashour underwent surgery in a hospital in Miami, USA, which hosted the tournament after his injury in the first game at the Club World Cup.
According to the statement from Al Ahly, Ashour will participate in training without heavy contact, and his condition will be evaluated, and the date of his participation in official matches will be determined by a decision from the team’s technical staff.
Al-Ahl,y after beating Pharco over the weekend, have resumed training to prepare for the next match against Ghazl El-Mahalla in the fourth round of the Egyptian Premier League.
