Lille are pursuing Stade Tunisien forward Khalil Ayari, whose rapid rise has caught the eye of several Ligue 1 clubs.
The 20-year-old earned his first call-up to Tunisia’s senior squad in June and impressed further during a two-week trial with Paris Saint-Germain’s U23 team, featuring in three friendlies where his pace, technique and finishing ability stood out.
Both Lille and Lens are monitoring him, but Lille are reportedly pushing hardest to secure a deal worth around €2.5m. Interest from Switzerland and Belgium also provides alternative options for the young striker.
Ayari’s growing reputation in Tunisia and Europe suggests he could quickly establish himself as one of the country’s brightest attacking prospects.
For Lille, his signing would represent an investment in both immediate talent and long-term potential.
