Toulouse FC are close to securing the services of Nigerian forward Gift Orban in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The 23-year-old is joining the French Ligue 1 club from German outfit Hoffenheim after just six-month spell in Germany.
Having joined Hoffenheim in a €9m deal and his hit the ground running, netting four goals in his first six games in the Bundesliga. However, his form tailed off along the line and was once again playing a more peripheral role.
Hoffenheim are looking to offload Orban, with Toulouse reaching agreement for loan acquisition of the attacker with an option to buy.
Orban only left Olympique Lyonnais in January, putting an end to a brief and difficult spell in France. However, just over six months later, he is now set to return.
The Nigerian striker, who has Togolese root struggled to make an impression at Lyon, prompting his departure in January, where he signed a contract until 2029.
He is now set for a sensational return to France following an agreement between Toulouse and Hoffenheim.
