Mahmoud Kahraba’s future could be on the move again after a season that reignited interest in his talent.
The Egyptian forward, who became a fan favorite at Al-Ittihad of Libya, is now weighing up his next step.
Kahraba joined the Libyan side in January on loan from Al-Ahly before the club decided to make his stay permanent. His energy, skill, and knack for decisive moments quickly made him one of the team’s most influential players.
Sources close to the 31-year-old revealed to Kooora that three clubs have already reached out to him. One is from the Iraqi league, while the other two are from Egypt, ready to swoop if his contract with Al-Ittihad ends. Current league rules mean Kahraba could join an Egyptian club outside the transfer window if he becomes a free agent.
Al-Ittihad wrapped up their campaign in fourth place in the Libyan League’s crowning tournament, earning a CAF Confederation Cup spot under coach Hamdi Yattao. Whether Kahraba will lead their continental push or start a new chapter remains to be seen.
