Neom SC has made a big move by signing 19-year-old French-Ivorian midfielder Saimon Bouabre from AS Monaco.
The deal, valued at around €10 million with potential bonuses and a sell-on clause, marks a significant investment for the newly promoted Saudi Pro League club.
Bouabre’s journey began at Monaco’s youth academy in 2021, where he rose through the U-17, U-18, and U-19 ranks. He played a key role in Monaco’s Coupe Gambardella triumph in the 2022–2023 season and appeared five times for the senior team, including four matches in Ligue 1.
As a French U20 international, Bouabre has already gained valuable experience with 12 caps and one goal at that level. His new five-year contract with Neom SC signals a fresh chapter in his career. Under the guidance of manager Christophe Galtier, Bouabre aims to grow and make an impact in Saudi Arabia’s rapidly developing football scene.
This signing shows Neom SC’s clear ambition to compete strongly in their debut season in the top flight.
