Goalless draw settles Al Gouna vs. Ismaily match in Egyptian League

Khaled Al-Nabris has rejoined Ismaily SC’s training camp in Borg El Arab after a short absence due to unpaid wages, signaling a possible fresh start ahead of the new Egyptian Premier League season.

The midfielder had stayed away from training sessions in protest, but returned once the club’s board, led by Nasr Abu Al Hassan, managed to release part of his outstanding dues. His return comes at a critical time as Ismaily gear up for the season opener on August 9.

Al-Nabris wasn’t the only face returning to the fold. Striker Marawan Hamdi also made his way back after the club lifted a ban that previously barred him from group training.

However, not all the news out of camp is positive. Mohamed Hassan and Hatem Sakr remain sidelined due to injuries. Meanwhile, Ahmed El Sheikh has parted ways with the club following failed contract talks.

Ismaily have seen significant squad changes, with departures including longtime captain Emad Hamdy, Mohamed Bayoumi, Hesham Mohamed, Eric Traore of Burkina Faso, and goalkeeper Kamal El-Sayed.
