Franco‑Ivorian striker Ange‑Yoan Bonny’s move to Inter Milan delayed as Stuttgart monitor talks

Negotiations over Ange‑Yoan Bonny’s anticipated move to Inter Milan have stalled amid ongoing discussions between the Italian side and his current club, Parma.

Although personal terms have reportedly been agreed upon, a formal deal remains elusive, offering VfB Stuttgart a potential opening.

A source close to the situation, Gianluca Di Marzio, confirms that Inter and Parma have yet to finalise the financial details required to complete the transfer of the 21‑year‑old Franco‑Ivorian striker.

Despite the player’s readiness to join Inter and the Italian club’s intention to secure his signature this week, negotiations are expected to extend into the coming days.

Inter Milan have reportedly reached agreement on personal terms, outlining a long-term contract with favourable conditions for Bonny.

The lack of consensus between clubs, however, has prevented the move from being confirmed. The delay comes despite Inter’s strong desire to bolster their attacking options, suggesting the deal could still be completed if financial expectations are reconcilable.

As discussions with Inter continue, VfB Stuttgart are monitoring the situation closely. The Bundesliga club, preparing for life after Nick Woltemade—who is on the verge of a move to Bayern Munich—may enter the fray.

Stuttgart are considering offering a transfer premium to compete for Bonny’s signature should their rival negotiations falter. The willingness of Stuttgart to act swiftly could play a decisive role if Inter cannot meet Parma’s valuation.

Bonny’s rise through the ranks at Châteauroux demonstrated the young striker’s potential. The forward’s blend of pace, composure in front of goal, and athleticism have earned him attention from European heavyweights.

His breakthrough at Parma has elevated his profile further, making him a coveted asset. For Inter, securing Bonny would represent a strategic investment in youth, aligning with their broader plan to refresh their frontline options.

Stuttgart’s interest reflects a keen awareness of the player’s potential; the German club remains open to opportunities to reinforce their squad with emerging talent.

By positioning themselves as a credible alternative, Stuttgart maintain pressure on Inter to finalise the deal swiftly—or risk losing out.

Both Italian clubs must now negotiate terms with Parma, whose valuation remains the pivotal point. With Inter pushing to close the deal and Stuttgart waiting in the wings, negotiations are expected to intensify in the coming days.

Should Inter fail to meet Parma’s demands, Stuttgart may emerge as the frontrunner, ready to offer Bonny a pathway into Bundesliga football.

For now, all parties remain engaged. Parma seek a fee that reflects Bonny’s promise; Inter aim to secure a rising star before the summer window closes; and Stuttgart stand poised to capitalise if necessary. As discussions continue, Ange‑Yoan Bonny must wait to see where his next chapter unfolds.

With several days still left in the transfer window, the outlook remains uncertain. Fans and stakeholders will be monitoring developments closely, knowing that the resolution could reshape the offensive strategies of multiple clubs across Europe.
