Trent Alexander-Arnold committed to staying at Real Madrid amid Liverpool return reports

Trent Alexander-Arnold has no intention of leaving Real Madrid, despite reports linking the defender with a return to Liverpool.

Reports had suggested the right-back could move back to his former club after struggling to secure regular opportunities with the Spanish side.

However, Football Insider reports that Alexander-Arnold wants to continue his career at Real Madrid and is determined to fight for his place in the team’s starting XI.

The England international faces strong competition for the right-back position from Federico Valverde and Denzel Dumfries.

Real Madrid also have no plans to part company with Alexander-Arnold and believe he will play an important role for the team in the coming period.

Alexander-Arnold joined Real Madrid at the beginning of last season on a free transfer, following the expiry of his contract with English club Liverpool.
