The head coach of Tunisia’s women’s national team, Kamel Saada, has stressed that his team will not underestimate any of their opponents in Group B at the 2025 CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
The WAFCON is just seven days away from kicking off in Morocco.
At the tournament, Tunisia will compete with Nigeria, Algeria, and Botswana in Group B.
Speaking to CAFOnline ahead of the start of the tournament, Coach Kamel Saada acknowledged that Tunisia is in a very tough group.
He stated that his team is preparing well for the WAFCON and will not underestimate any of their opponents.
“It’s a tough group. Everyone knows the quality of Nigeria. Algeria is improving fast. Botswana too. We’re not underestimating anyone. We’ll need to be disciplined, focused, and play our best football. The team that plays smart, cohesive football can pull off surprises. We’re preparing for that seriously,” Coach Kamel Saada said.
Tunisia will open their campaign at the 2025 WAFCON against Nigeria on July 6.
