Former Morocco midfielder Nordin Amrabat has agreed to join Wydad Casablanca ahead of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
Wydad are currently focused on strengthening its squad for the expanded tournament, which is scheduled for the United States of America next month.
The club is already close to signing highly sought-after Burkina Faso international Stephane Aziz Ki from Young Africans SC.
Meanwhile, Wydad is believed to be Hamza Hannouri, with the striker reportedly set to sign a three-year deal from FUS Rabat.
With the tournament now fast approaching, Nordin Amrabat, the older brother of current Atlas Lions midfielder Sofyan Amrabat, has agreed to join the side.
According to reports in the Moroccan media, Amrabat has given his approval to sign with Wydad ahead of the Club World Cup, and details are now being finalised before an official announcement.
Amrabat, who is now 38 years old, will be out of contract at English second-tier side Hull City next month.
Meanwhile, Wydad has been paired with Al Ain, Manchester United and Juventus in Group G.
