Former Dutch forward of African descent, Clarence Seedorf, believes Arsenal have nothing to lose heading into the second leg of their semi-final tie against PSG in the UEFA Champions League.
Arsenal hosted the first leg of the tie on Tuesday, April 29, and lost 1-0 at the end of the contest played at Emirates Stadium.
On the matchday, a solitary strike from Ousmane Dembele early in the first half earned the win for the Parisians.
Although many have ruled out Arsenal after the narrow defeat, Clarence Seedorf believes there is still hope for the English Premier League side.
Speaking in a post-match interview, the former AC Milan super star argued that the result may go in favour of Arsenal in the reverse fixture.
“This result might actually help Arsenal to be free in the second leg. They have nothing to lose,” Clarence Seedorf said.
PSG will host the second leg of the semi-final tie against Arsenal at Parc des Princes on Wednesday, May 7.
