Noah Mbamba turned down a late approach from Anderlecht in favor of a move to Dender before the transfer window shut.
The 20-year-old talented midfielder rejected Anderlecht’s proposal, which would have split his time between the first team and the Futures, opting instead for a club where he could secure more consistent minutes in the top division.
Noah Mbamba first broke through at Club Brugge before making a move to German champions Bayer Leverkusen in January 2023.
However, his time in Germany saw limited opportunities, leading to a loan spell at Fortuna Düsseldorf in the 2. Bundesliga last summer—a stint that ultimately failed to bring the desired breakthrough.
