The club announced the acquisition of the talented forward on Friday, January 24, after a mandatory medical examination.
“Eintracht signs Elye Wahi. The French U23 international striker comes from Olympique Marseille and has signed a contract until 2030.
“Last summer, Olympique Marseille signed the 22-year-old. There, he scored three goals in 13 Ligue 1 games and provided one assist. Now the Frenchman is moving abroad for the first time in his career, to Eintracht Frankfurt, where he will face fellow countryman Hugo Ekitiké in attack, among others. Elye Wahi will wear jersey number 17 at the Hessian Bundesliga club,” Frankfurt announced in its official statement.
The young forward joins Frankfurt as a replacement for Egyptian star Omar Marmoush who joined Manchester City on Thursday.
At the new club, Wahi will hope to hit the ground running and impress with goals and assists to help the Bundesliga side.
