Nigeria international defender Bruno Onyemaechi is on the verge of joining Greek side Olympiacos.
The promising left-back will join the side from Portuguese side Boavista in a deal worth €2.5m.
Stuck at the basement of the league table, Boavista are in a financial mess and will need to sell players to stay afloat with reports of an imminent ban looming in a few months.
Despite their issues this season, Bruno remains one of their standout players, a reputation which he enhanced with another goal over the weekend in their 2-3 loss to Casa Pia.
That game could be his last in their colors as he is suspended for the weekend game against Sporting Braga, and with an imminent transfer set for conclusion, he could be out of the club the next time he plays football at club level.
He is expected to put the final touches to the move before next week ahead of a routine medical before he will be officially unveiled as a player of the Europa Conference League champions.
